Annotated Bibliographical Entry: "Recent US and Chinese Antisatellite Activities"

In this article, Lt Col James Mackey reviews the antisatellite (ASAT) activities of the US and China, in light of speculation of possible space wars between the two. He starts with an overview of ASAT activities during the Cold War, then examines both countries' recent use of ASAT technology to shoot down their own satellites. It also looks at what possible threats there may be to other countries' satellites as well as offering measures to lower the threat of space war.
