Annotated Bibliographical Entry: "Snubbed by the U.S., China Finds New Space Partners"

       In his article, Jim Yardley discusses China's attempts at partnering with other nations in space development despite American exclusion. He points out that the U.S.'s strategy of keeping China isolated via export restrictions and exclusion from space conferences and the ISS has backfired, as China is creating its own network of nations. To do this, the country works in developing country's with valuable resources setting up satellite launches and training personnel to better relations. Yardley points to a Chinese funded satellite launch in oil-rich Nigeria as a landmark deal, demonstrating to the US that the Chinese can be successful on their own.
